Engineers work closely with persons in the allied areas such as Architects, Building Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors for example. In some cases we depend on some of our Affiliates to execute many of our well laid out plans, some of these persons would include electricians, welders, air-conditioning mechanics and draftsmen. These persons would all find a place in BSE. Our role would be to see to the further development of the skill level in these areas with the ultimate goal of fostering more understanding among the various groups and better industry coordination.

Associates are persons who would have already achieved a recognized degree in engineering but who would have had less than four years practice upon graduation. Further, by networking with other young professionals in the field a, support base is established for the formation of study groups for the preparation for examinations and interviews to meet the requirements for international registration.
